Project Description
Transbronchial Aspiration Needle
The Transbronchial Aspiration Needle is used during a Bronchoscopy to take tissue samples from lymph nodes.
The process of taking a lymph sample requires the user to undertake a ‘blind’ procedure where a puncture is made with the needle in the ‘narrowing’ bronchial canal then pushed into the lymph node. A syringe (usually 20ml) is attached and then aspiration is performed to draw tissue samples into the needle.
